How can I calculate shipping costs?
Shipping costs are based on weight and location, so placing various items in your cart will calculate the exact cost of those items to your doorstep. For basic items shipping starts at just $3.95 in the US and $8.95 internationally. To calculate shipping costs for the items in your cart without having to enter in any personal information, you can use our new shipping calculation tool here.

For orders within the US:
FedEx ground delivery is guaranteed when you order before 3 PM EST on the 17th to all locations. Ground delivery is still available to mid-west and eastern states up until the 21st.
For 3 day air order by 5 PM on the 21st.
For 2 day air order by 5 PM on the 22th.
For overnight order by 5 PM on the 23rd.
FSPilotShop will even accept orders on the 23d and 24th via overnight delivery on the 24th or 25th.
Please note that FedEx is closed on Friday December 25.
International
For international shipping options, please select only FedEx or Express shipping options for guaranteed delivery. US Postal Service (USPS) options are estimates and can take considerably longer during the holiday period. FedEx shipping options are guaranteed until 5 PM on the 22nd.
Please note that delivery guarantees by couriers during Christmas week generally mean delivery before Christmas, but may arrive a bit later than normally scheduled. Couriers will be working over the weekend to ensure deliveries arrive.

Why do you require registration on FSPilotShop.com?
We require registration to make shopping easier for you. Since many of our products are available for instant download, registering on our site allows you to keep all of your download links accessible and in one place so you can retrieve them at any time, for free! In addition, you can keep track of all of your previous orders in one convenient location. Also, you can place new orders much more quickly and easily since your address will be saved on our secure site. However, for your added security, we do not store your credit card details so you will need to enter a credit card again. This is an additional level of protection for our customers. Registration is free and we never, ever sell, rent or provide any customer information to any third parties for any reason.

I am trying to retrieve my password, but I'm not receiving the email.
The password retrieval link instantly emails you a new password in the event that you forgot your old one. However, certain email accounts such as AOL may block these emails thinking that they are spam. Please check your spam filters and if the email still has not arrived within a few minutes, please contact us via phone or email and we would be happy to reset your password manually.

What if I received the wrong item or my item was damaged?
If the item arrived damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can file the appropriate claims with the shipping company and have a replacement sent. If you receive the incorrect item, please also contact us so we can resolve it for you immediately.

How do I retrieve my instant download links and/or license keys?
To retrieve your download or license key, please follow the following steps.
1. Login to your account here https://www.fspilotshop.com/login.php
2. Once logged in, you should see a list of previous orders at the top of your account information. Otherwise, please click on the My Account link at the top left of the page.
3. Click the "View" button next to the order you wish to retrieve.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a section called Download links where you will find a link to download the product as well as the License Key assigned to you for that product.

How do I know if an item is in stock?
FSPilotShop.com uses real-time inventory controls so when you see an item listed on our site, you know it's in stock! From time to time we take pre-orders on certain items before their official release so that you can reserve the item. In these cases it will be clearly noted on the product page and will also appear in pre-order order status when you check your order history. The only items we do not stock are certain GoFlight systems that are customer built to order. We have the largest selection of in-stock flight sim products anywhere so shop with confidence knowing your order will ship out promptly!

Can I get an instant download mailed to me on CD instead? What is ON CD-ROM?
Any software product that is offered as an instant download can also be burned onto a CD and sent to you for a nominal additional fee (plus shipping). Simply select the ON CD ROM option from the drop down menu when adding an instant download to your shopping cart and we'll take care of the rest. Any manuals or instruction guides will be contained on the CD and not printed separately. If the instant download/ON CD ROM option isn't offered, it means that particular product is only available on CD and by default will be shipped to you. If you ordered an instant download, you can also get a CD sent to you. Simply click the red link directly under the blue download link in your account to order a copy of the file on a CD and have it sent to you.

How do I obtain technical support for the product that I purchased?
To obtain product technical support and detailed information about a specific product you have purchased, we recommend contacting the developer/manufacturer directly. We have made it easy to do so.
1. Browse to the product that you are inquiring about, either by using the navigation on the left side of the website or by entering the name of the product in the search box at the top right.
2. Once you have located the product, click on it so that you are seeing the full product description.
3. Once viewing the product description, look on the right side of the page under the box that says Manufacturer's Info
4. Click on the link that says Manufacturer Tech Support. This will direct you to the manufacturer's optimal way of communication, which may be an email address, forum, or web form.
Alternatively, you can use the convenient form here to view the contact information for any developer/manufacturer.
Each supplier to the FS Pilot Shop is required to respond to any inquiries promptly.

How do I track my order or check my order status?
Your order status will appear when you log in to your account. If it shows as shipped, it means it has left our warehouse and is in transit to you. If you selected a FedEx shipping option, you will receive a tracking number via email shortly after your product ships. Additionally, you can log in to your account and view your order history, which also contains your tracking number. Please note that tracking information may take time to update and to reflect the current status of the package. If you select a US Postal Service (USPS) shipping option, there is no tracking number available and delivery times are estimates. However all USPS shipments are still shipped within 24 hours and include a shipment confirmation. For time sensitive orders, we recommend using our FedEx shipping option.

How do I know which products support FSX or if they only support FS2004? What about Windows Vista?
The FlightSim Pilot Shop has created a special FSX Certified logo to designate which software titles are suitable for FSX. If this logo is not displayed, only FS2004 is supported. Please note that all hardware products including such items as yokes, pedals, panels and more support both FS2004 and FSX and therefore no logo will appear on hardware products. Also, when you click on the software link on the left side of our page to browse our software titles, there will be a section for both FS2004 and FSX so you can properly browse add-ons for either version separately. Furthermore, we note at the bottom of each software product page compatibility for FS2004, FSX or both. Please browse carefully because instant downloads and opened software cannot be refunded if you purchase the wrong version accidentally.
All of our add-ons that support Windows XP will also support Windows Vista.

What is my username and serial code for my instant download?
No username is needed when you install an add-on. You can use anything you want, or just leave it blank. For a serial code, please use the license key that is provided under your account details or in the email sent upon completion of your order.

Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, you can pay by check or money order and mail us your payment. All payments must be in US dollars, so if you are outside of the USA, please get a US dollar money order from your bank. Please download and print the mail-order form here.

What if my email address or other personal information needs to be updated?
Any personal information including your email address can be changed or updated by logging in to your account. Please DO NOT create a new account. Creating a new account may cause problems retrieving your old orders. Simply log in to your account, click on My Account and click View or change my account information to change your email address or phone number and entries in my address book to change your address.
