Ultimate Weather FX is a graphical enhancement package that boasts over 250 new textures for FSX and FS9. Our product is designed as a stand alone add-on for FS9 and FSX but is also compatible with your favorite weather engine (i.e. Active Sky, FS Meteo, or the Sim's default weather engine).

Now, you may be asking why use Ultimate Weather FX if you already have a weather engine such as Active Sky? The reason is because weather engines only improve weather depiction but not weather presentation. All weather engines use whichever set of clouds, skies and effects you currently have installed in order to depict the weather. After installing Ultimate Weather FX, your favorite weather engine will use our realistic clouds, skies and effects to depict the weather. The result is a more realistic experience! So whether you use the default weather engine, the default weather themes the simulator offers, user-defined weather, or another weather engine such as Active Sky you will immediately notice a more realistic environment.

Even if you don't have a weather engine, you can still enjoy our product as it also improves the default weather themes the sim offers such as fair weather, clear skies, building storms, cold fronts, winter wonderland, etc!  You can also enjoy our product by using the real-world weather download feature that FS9 and FSX offer.

Overall, your environments and weather themes will be instantly enhanced no matter where you fly.
