Installed FScene4X Total Pack last week and love the experience so far. I run FTX for Australian scenery and was hoping for a similar result for the rest of the world. Seems I have found it!!
For a relative newcomer I would like to see some more info on suggested "Start Up" settings, as has been done with the ORBX documentation, but using these as a starting point I am now getting some really nice results to improve on.
Frame Rates, with sliders at an average of 80%, have improved from 35-40 FPS on default FSX scenery to Max. 65 FPS last night using the FScene4X!! I'll be working on improving the content whilst maintaining a 40 FPS locked rate.
I have not worked with FS9 in as much detail yet but certainly expect similar successes.
Installation was plain and simple and the FScene Forum support seems good.
All in all, a Fantastic job with this package, it will complement whatever you are looking to achieve with your environment and the FPS improvement will really help out those with simpler spec computers than what I'm lucky enough to own.
