The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
In the years following World War II it became traditional for a Spitfire and Hurricane to lead the Victory Day flypast over London. From that event, the idea grew to form a historic collection to commemorate the RAF's major battle honour, the Battle of Britain and latterly to broaden the scope to include all major RAF participants of WWII.

Today the BBMF is one of the worlds best known airworthy historic aircraft collections, fielding a Lancaster, a Dakota, five Spitfires, two Hurricanes and a pair of Chipmunks.

Artist Robin Smith
Robin Smith is a professional artist specialising in aviation subjects. He is a full member of the Guild of Aviation Artists and has produced a series of acclaimed Limited Edition prints from his paintings. He works from home in his studio near Louth in Lincolnshire.
