VFR Czech Republic photo scenery for Flight Simulator X and Prepar 3D covers the area of the country of the Czech Republic. The product is based on SPOT5 multispectral satellite images geometrically and radiometrically corrected to the seamless mosaic. The scenery in flight simulator represents characteristics of the terrain surface using 2,5 m/px field resolution textures, hydrological layer and autogen.

Czech Republic (Czech ceska Republika) is a country located in Central Europe, lying between E012°05' and E01850', and 48°35'N and 51°05'N. The area of the country is 78 866 km, the population 10,25 million and the average population density 130/km. The country is bordered by Poland to the north (border length of 790 km), by Slovakia to the southeast (261 km), by Austria to the south (362 km), and by Germany to the west (645 km). The country is divided into 13 administrative regions (Central Bohemian Region, Hradec Kralove Region, Karlovy Vary Region, Liberec Region, Moravian-Silesian Region, Olomouc Region, Pardubice Region, Plze Region, South Bohemian Region, South Moravian Region, Ústí nad Labem Region, Vyso?ina Region, Zlín Region) and one separate city (Prague). The capital of the country is Prague (fifteenth largest and fifth most visited city in Europe).

The Czech Republic was formed as a result of the split of Czechoslovakia onto the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993.

The Czech Republic is primarily an upland country, with its area covering the Bohemian Massif and a small part of the Western Carpathians. The Bohemian Massif is an extensive basin surrounded by mountains on three sides: the Sudetes, the Ore mountains, Sumava, and Bohemian and Bavarian Forests. The highest peak of the country, at the height of 1603 m (5256 ft), is a located in the Sudetes Snoka. Natural vegetation of country include deciduous and mixed forests of temperate zone. In the mountains vegetation characteristic of mountainous terrain grow. The country is located in the basin of three seas: North, Black and Baltic. The largest rivers of the country are Vltava (430 km) and the Elbe (370 km). In the country there are also 455 lakes and more than 21 thousand artificial water reservoirs.

Main cities are: Prague (Czech: Praha), Brno, Ostrava, Plze, Olomouc, Liberec and Hradec Kralove.

Installation instructions

The installation process takes place through the simManager application, which manages the installation and activation of the VFR Czech Republic product. It is an independent application which uses the Adobe Air technology.

A properly installation of this product requires an active SIMDESIGN user account. You can register a new user account directly in the simManager application.

Installation Notes:

This product installation streams directly from the publisher so you must be online to install the product. The download you will receive allows you to access the installation directly from the publisher. Note that you will have to create an account with SimDesign and register your product code or license key (provided upon purchase)with them in order to download and install this software. Here is a breakdown of the set up procedure required to install this software:
  1. Download the product file from your FSPilotShop.com account after purchase.
  2. Run the SimManager.exe from that download
  3. Register as a new user (change language to English as needed)
  4. Create an account with SimDesign
  5. Verify the new-account e-mail
  6. Use the Sim Manager program to Login using your new account info
  7. Select Tools
  8. Select Install
  9. Select the product purchased from the list
  10. Verify the title and click Start
  11. Enter the 16 character License Code, provided to you on your FSPilotShop.com order (License key /Serial Number).
  12. Follow the instructions provided to complete the install.
